6 TIMES OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST, USAIN BOLT WITHDRAWS FROM THE OLYMPIC GAME TRIALS IN JAMAICA

The 29-year-old sprinter suffered a hamstring tear during the first round of Jamaica's senior trials at Kingston in preparation for the Rio Olympic Games. Usain Bolt is however determined to recover in time for the main event.

He stated in his tweet that he has submitted a medical exemption to be excused from the remainder of the National Championship and will seek treatment immediately with the hopes of regaining and showing fitness at the London Anniversary Games on the 22nd of this month in order to earn selection for the Rio Olympic Games.

Get well soon Usain Bolt.
