GUNMEN ATTACK AND ROB PASSENGERS OF 8 BOATS IN IMOSE, OGUN STATE

Gunmen suspected to be Niger Delta Militants stopped and robbed Passengers of 8 different boats in Imose, Ogun State earlier today. This followed an attack on members of the Odua People’s Congress (OPC) on the same river by the suspected Militants yesterday which left a member of the OPC injured. One of the victims of the robbery incident informed B.K’s Blog that all the passengers were robbed and some were even  physically assaulted.

There are still speculations as regards the reason for the attack as news went round last week in the community that the issue between the town and the suspected Militants had been settled by the town’s heads and they (the suspected Militants) promised never to disturb the town again.
