Top 5 Dumbest Animals
This week on
the Amazing Creatures, we will be looking at the top 5 dumbest Animals in the
animal Kingdom. In no particular order, they are:
1) Pandas: These animals may look
all cute and adorable but the real truth is that they are extremely dumb. They
were originally carnivores but have now evolved to feed on bamboo which
contains an extremely low amount of nutrients and the bamboo cannot provide the
Panda with enough energy which may be the reason why they only mate once a year
in the wild (they just don’t have enough energy to do it more than that).
When
a female Panda becomes pregnant, she often doesn’t realise it because of the
small size of her cubs. The mother Panda can be so dumb that she doesn’t even recognise
her cubs which are usually born in Pairs and sometimes, she even tries to kill
the screaming babies. At other times, she might not notice them and roll over
them unconsciously crushing them to death in her sleep.
2) Sheep: These animals are very
stupid by nature that it was once recorded in Turkey in the year 2005 that a
Suicide-Sheep jumped off a cliff and 1,500 sheep followed the 1st
one….The height of Stupidity…
3) Turkey: What makes the Turkey
stupid enough to appear on the list is their sex drive. Although they are
better than the panda in this area, they are pathetic in their own way.
Researches confirm that all it takes to get a male turkey going is the “head”.
As if this isn’t crazy enough, they’ll try to mate with a two year old
dehydrated male turkey’s head on a stick.
4) Cane toad: These types of
toad don’t just have a hideous look but are also very stupid, so stupid that
they’ll try to have sex with everything and anything. They are popular for
having sex with dead animals. They have sex with dead females of their kind and
even other species of animals e.g Lizards, Snakes, Rats etc.
5) Sloths: These creatures don’t
just have a dull appearance but also dull minds. They are famous for their
lifestyle which is majorly comprised of eating and sleeping. Young Sloths can
be so clumsy and stupid that they mistake their hands for branches and fall off
while climbing.
