NIGER DELTA AVENGERS REACH A CONSENSUS WITH THE FGN BY AGREEING TO A 30-DAY CEASEFIRE

            After several pleas, the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) who have been involved in a series of attacks on Oil wells have finally agreed to a ceasefire to give the Buhari led administration more time to come up with concrete plans to tackle and provide lasting solutions to the problems in the Niger Delta region.

            The truce was said to have been reached last week by a team led by Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) representatives, community leaders and state government representatives.
